The Lace Guild is making plans for a bumper year of celebrations for our Golden Anniversary on 2026.
What?
Demonstration, exhibition and “have-a-go” pillow.
Where?
Any property/venue that is open to the public.
When?
Ideally, 2nd Saturday in September, but could be any day/weekend in 2026.
Why?
To tell the world about The Lace Guild and what we do.
Who?
You, your lace group, or lace friends.

LACING TOGETHER Congleton Town Hall Sunday 9th March 10.30-3.30. Craft fair and lace event!
The Lacing Together Project offers a range of engaging activities:
Community Art Creation: Congleton residents and visitors can join local makers in creating a collaborative lace-inspired artwork. Each participant will contribute a small piece, guided by experienced crafters, which will be combined into a stunning public display using one of the iconic Congleton bears.
Art Gallery: A curated exhibition will feature artwork from local artists and crafters interpreting the theme of lace. We are actively seeking submissions from local artists to showcase their work in this gallery.
Lacemaking Displays: Informational displays and examples of local work, both historical and contemporary, will help visitors explore the intricacies of lacemaking, a heritage craft at risk of disappearing.
