Other Craft Guilds
The Australian Lace Guild was formed in N.S.W in 1979 to meet the needs of all those interested in Lace. The Guild was incorporated in Victoria on the 14th Aug 1985. The National Administratie Committee is currently in Tasmania.
The aims and objectives or our organisation are to: promote lace making as a craft throughout Australia and to bring together people interested in all forms of lace and lace making; to provide a forum for the exchange of lacemaking in all forms; to establish and maintain excellence in the craft of lacemaking and for personal and public education. Our members include tool makers, collectors and historians as well as those actively engaging in making lace.
The annual membership subscription entitles members to four issues of the quarterly Guild Journal Australian Lace.
