3 February to 21 April 2017
The museum has a marvellous collection of collars of all styles and ages. A complete cross section of types of beautiful lace will be displayed, some worked with a needle, others bobbin-made or a mixture of techniques. Lace collars were an important fashion accessory.
The next display from 28 April to late July 2017 will be recent acquisitions, an opportunity to see some of the interesting and beautiful laces that have come into the collection.
